Graduated from Nanjing University in 1997 with a Ph.D. degree, she is currently a professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering, School of Electronic Science and Engineering, Nanjing University, and the director of the Image Engineering Laboratory. As a leading scholar in the field of Circuits and Systems, she is also recognized as an outstanding young and middle-aged expert in the Nanjing 321 Talent Program. She has conducted research visits at Fujitsu in Japan and Northwestern University in the United States, and has also served as the Deputy Mayor of Yixing in charge of science and technology. She has presided over and undertaken major projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, international cooperation programs, as well as the Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Support Program. She has published over 100 academic papers in SCI and EI indexed journals. She holds more than 20 authorized national invention patents and has received numerous awards, including the Third Prize of Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Award, Jiangsu Provincial Excellent Software Product Award, China Computer Industry Development Achievement Award (Team), Fujitsu’s Outstanding Performance Award, and Nanjing University’s Young Backbone Teacher Award.
