Li Yang, Ph.D. from the School of Electronic Science and Engineering at Nanjing University and serves as an associate professor and master’s supervisor. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Engineering degrees from Southeast University in 2000 and 2003, respectively, and earned his Ph.D. in Engineering from the Department of Electronic Science and Engineering at Nanjing University in 2006. He completed his postdoctoral research at Northwestern University in the United States from 2012 to 2014. With a long-term focus on research in computer vision theory and applications, including visual environment perception, depth estimation, and reconstruction, he is a key teacher in his discipline. He has published over 50 international academic papers and holds more than 10 authorized invention patents. He received the Hua Ying Cultural and Educational Foundation Young Teacher Award in 2005, was part of the Outstanding Science and Technology Innovation Team in Jiangsu Province in 2009, and was awarded the Outstanding Scheme and Case for China’s Computer Industry Development Achievement in 2012. In 2017, he was recognized as a high-level innovative and entrepreneurial talent in Nanjing.
